Folk Dance Competition-Dreaming with feet With the aim of honing the dancing skills of the students, an Inter-House Dance Competition was organised for students of classes VI – VIII and IX and XI. The theme of the competition was “Indian Folk Dances'. The vivacious dancers set the floor on fire with their energetic performances. The judgement of the programme was done by Ms Ranjeeta Mishra and Ms Priyanka, two of our honourable parents.

Our Students showcased their talent in Mehandi Competition held on 26 October 2018. Irrespective of their exposure and experience , they adorned their hands with Mehandi designs which helped them boost their confidence in the art. Principal of the school encouraged and appreciated the students for putting in efforts to keep this culture and traditional art form alive.

A fancy dress competition 'GRANDIOSE' was held on May 10, 2018 for Classes I and II. The enthusiastic participants dressed in different attire showcased their talent with great zeal and fervour. The participants were cheered by their classmates and everyone enjoyed the show.Results: First position Aadhaaya Chawla of Class I B Pragun House and Vridhi Tibrrewal of Class II G Samridhi House, Second position Aadhya Pandey of Class I E Samridhi House and Riddhi and Syed of Class II C Samridhi House and Pragun House respectively.Third position Hartik Vaid of Class I B Prcheta House and Kritika Sharma of Class II C Pragun House.

“Poetry is the rhythmical creation of beauty in words”Poetry and rhymes help to develop self expression. To enhance the creativity, self expression and confidence of the children, an English Poetry Recitation Competition was held for Classes Pre Primary, I and II. The participants recited meaningful poems with zeal, enthusiasm and confidence. They also used beautiful props. Vanshika Bora of Class II G (Sanchay House) secured the first position, the second and third positions were secured by Purv Thakural of Class I B (Samridhi House) and Partha Mishra of Class I E (Pracheta House) respectively.

Calligraphy is a visual art related to writing. To enhance creativity and to develop artistic skills, The School organized English and Hindi Calligraphy Competition on April 12, 2018 for students of Class-II. Children participated in the competition with full enthusiasm.The winners of English Calligraphy Competition were Aditya of Class II B (Samridhi House) first prize, Vandita of Class II B (Pracheta House) second prize and Aditya of Class II D ( Pragun House) third prize. The winners of Hindi calligraphy were Shivali Jha of Class II A (Pracheta House) first prize, Chhavi Sharma of Class II C Samridhi House) second prize and Akanksha Arya of Class II D (Pragun House) third prize.
